Week of March 27, 2017

Do you recall the classic show called "Our Town"? It's a story set in small town Grover's Corners in 1904 but it's themes remind all generations of today what is truly important in life. The play deals with ideas of growing up, marriage, life and death and is appropriate for all ages. Our very own Hickory Grove High School Students will be performing the show "Our Town". Our version of the performance will be set in the round and include some audience interaction. This performance of Our Town will be unlike any other, so come join us!

The American Red Cross in Partnership with Hickory Grove Christian School will be hosting  a scholarship blood drive on Friday 3/31/17. Please help the students save lives and earn scholarship dollars at the same time by signing up to donate.

Everyday people battling cancer, needing surgeries, having a transplant or suffering from an accident, need blood. You can help them by donating at this blood program.

Thank you for considering this opportunity for service.

This summer, in addition to the regular camps (CentriKid and Camp Paradise) sponsored by Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Hickory Grove Christian School will offer several camps for your children to further enrich your child's summer. These camps are wide ranging and include:

  • Athletics (baseball, basketball)
  • Language
  • Leadership
  • Arts (Music, Drama/Theater and Dance)
  • Literacy
  • Photography
  • Graphic Design
  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

With the exception of the Athletic Camps (open to the community), camps will be opened only to Hickory Grove Christian Students (current and prospective) and Hickory Grove Baptist Church members. They will be led by the staff and coaches of Hickory Grove Christian School and are offered to students of all ages from Kindergarten through 12th grade. You will find that these classes are both affordable, enjoyable and a great way to develop your child this summer. Please take a look at our website for more information and to register.
