Announcements for the Week of October 24, 2016

We need your help! In addition to the high school car wash this Saturday, we will also be having a bake sale that day to help raise funds for the high school students going on the Pittsburgh and Dominican Republic mission trips! If you'd like to help, please bring in your delicious treats (individually wrapped) to Mr. Hamilton's office this Friday (October 28th). What a great way for families of our younger students to be a part of missions at HGCS! Thanks for your support!

Silent Auction Gift Baskets

Hickory Grove Christian School will be having their annual Silent Auction and Dinner on Saturday, November 5th, 2016.  We are asking our HGCS families to join us in helping to support HGCS Academics, Athletics, and Fine Arts by creating baskets from each grade as an auction item.  Last year we had abundant contributions to the baskets and they were a great success!  Please consider sending in an item(s) for your child's grade basket.  Each grade has been assigned a specific theme and a sign up list has been provided for specific needs (in a separate email).  All contributions can be given to the Elementary, Middle and High School Administrative Assistants by Thursday, October 13th.  Thank you!

Important Yearbook Information

Everybody gets a yearbook! The cost is included in tuition and they will be delivered to students during the week of May 22nd.

Personalization is back! If you would like to personalize your yearbook with name stamps and/or icons, fill out the form sent home and turn it in to a teacher or to the school office. You also have the option of personalizing at www.yearbookforever.com
Selecting Yearbook Photos - A flier from St. John’s Photography was sent home last week about picture orders. It included instructions about how to select your yearbook photo. Even if you do not order pictures, please make sure to do this or a random photo will be selected.

Senior Ad and Business Ad Orders are due October 31st.  In addition to forms that were given out, you have the option of ordering online at www.yearbookforever.com.

Share your photos!  If you have pictures from events, special school days, field trips, etc. that you would like to be considered for use in the yearbook, please download and use the free Snap App on your phone or Community Upload site on the computer and connect it to our school using the access code, hglions. See the attached flyer for details.
